Steve spent 30+ years working his way up the technical ranks of The Boeing Company. He was clearly destined to work in Aerospace as his first word as a baby was “Plane”. His specialty was test and evaluation of aviation electronics for both commercial and military airplanes. As he advanced in the ranks, he assumed a leadership role in planning, scheduling, pricing and administrating the tasks and technical staff working under him.

Steve and his wife Anne have worked in various capacities of youth ministries during their years of ministry at church. These include Junior High youth sponsors after they first got married, leading Sunday School music for K-5, participating in or leading a dozen plus mission trips to Bolivia, Costa Rica, Germany, Haiti, Mexico and Morocco (some of which were for youth), and leading a weekly high school small group/bible study.

Through these years of ministry, Steve has learned the power of prayer and currently participates in weekly corporate prayer at his church and weekly prayer for the Blessing Group and Found Clubs. He has experienced the power of God working in both his life (a much redeemed type A engineering personality) and the life of others. His current passion is for our western culture to recognize that while we live in this world, it consists of two realms (physical/the five senses and spiritual/good vs evil) and that the Word of God is the source of absolute truth.

He is excited to hear the stories from the Found Clubs as that generation believes and practices the truth found in God’s Word, and want to share His Good News with other students in the clubs.

Anne is first and foremost a child of The Living God, second a wife of 45 years, third a mom of 4 children and fourth a grandmom of 9 bio gradkids and 3 stepgrandkids. Anne has made a career of volunteering. She worked with a special needs child as a middle schooler, volunteered as a counselor at Campus By The Sea Christian Camp on Catalina Island, and spent part of a summer working at Camp LaVerne as a counselor and kitchen staff. When she and her husband Steve began their married life they became youth leaders of middle schoolers for 5 years. Anne also led the music and counseled for her church’s middle school camp during those years. Anne has also been involved in the leadership of a women’s bible study for many years and Grace community church.

As their family began to grow Anne’s love and commitment to children also grew as she shifted to leading VBS programs for her church, and volunteering in her kids’ schools. She began a Moms In Prayer group for all her children’s schools. She worked in the classrooms, worked one on one with students, became involved with PTA both as committee member heading up a reading program and as VP in charge of fundraising. She was awarded PTA’s Golden Acorn Award, and a district volunteer award. She has volunteered at Rainier Middle school for the past 30 years working one on one with students and working in the faculty workroom stocking the shelves and encouraging the teachers.

When her youngest was in middle school, Anne joined the work force as a guest teacher for the Auburn school district. For 10 years, she was dedicated to encouraging the schools and her teacher friends by being available to take over their classes. Anne was also awarded a Star Guest Teacher plaque by the Auburn school district. 

Anne and her husband Steve have both participated in and led many mission trips to Vicente Guerrero Mexico; teaching families and youth how to share their faith through serving those in need. Anne has also been on mission trips to Bolivia, Haiti, Germany and La Paz Mexico. Prayer has been a very integral part of mission trips.

Anne is now serving on the board of directors of Garnan Holdings, a company which oversees international businesses and properties.

With a career spanning diverse industries and a lifelong commitment to service, Deb transitioned into her true calling as a Chaplain in 2024. Coming from a multi-generational baking family, she began her professional journey at the age of seven bagging bread and serving customers, eventually stepping in as a cake decorator alongside her mother. This early foundation in hard work and community engagement set the stage for a multifaceted career.

Deb holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Puget Sound. Her professional evolution includes high-level roles as a Series 7 Registered Associate in the financial sector, a Health and Life Insurance Agent, and various positions in Project Management and Office Administration. After years of exploring these diverse paths, she fulfilled a 15-year stirring to enter the ministry.
Currently, Deb serves her community through faith-based outreach as a First Responder Chaplain with South Sound 911 and Gig Harbor Fire Department when needed. Beyond her fieldwork, she is a dedicated board member and Lead Chaplain for The Blessing Group, where she previously served as the VP of Marketing.

A passionate musician, Deb performs in the six-piece band TwoMacs & Friends with her husband, Scott. Together, they also serve on their local church’s worship team. Deb’s journey is a testament to the belief that it is never too late to embrace one’s ultimate purpose as a servant of God.
